Pray The Vote: Biden Wins South Carolina

Mayor Pete, Steyer drop out ahead of Super Tuesday

Former Vice President Joe Biden won big in the South Carolina Democratic party primary Saturday night.  With 100 percent of precincts reporting, he took 48.4 percent of the vote, giving him 39 delegates. He was followed by Bernie Sanders, Tom Steyer, Pete Buttigieg, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar and Tulsi Gabbard.

With the Super Tuesday primaries rapidly approaching, former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg and billionaire activist Tom Steyer both pulled out of the race.

The race for the Democratic nomination has tightened to a close one between Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For voters as they go to the polls on Super Tuesday where fully one-third of all delegates to be awarded will be determined.
  • For state and other officials charged with keeping the voting secure, and with counting after the votes have been cast.
  • For all candidates to remain in good health and safe while on the campaign trail.
